Zhangning and his father go to the amusement park with their friend Jingjing. They enjoy the merry-go-round and bumper cars, but when they see the roller coaster, Zhangning feels scared. Despite being teased by Jingjing about not being brave, Zhangning, encouraged by his father, chooses to be honest about his feelings and skip the ride. That day, Zhangning learns that true bravery isn't about conquering fears, but about being honest with yourself and accepting how you feel.
